Christmas Card Contest Winners Announced

One of our favorite times of the year is upon us. The season when we receive a collection of entries for our Christmas Card Contest. As a group, we gather to admire the creativity and effort these young students put into their card designs.

We are thrilled to congratulate Landry Mabrey, a talented third grade student at Rector Elementary, for creating the winning design for the 2024 Clay County Electric Cooperative Holiday Card! As a reward for her outstanding work, Landry received a $50 gift card.

This holiday card was mailed to friends of Clay County Electric, legislators and businesses across our area.

Thank you to all the area students who sent in their pictures. We had 142 great pieces of artwork submitted this year.

Gage Wright, a fourth grade student at Corning Park Elementary, received second place.

And Charlie Martin, a third grade student at Pocahontas Elementary, received third place.
